Impaired driving, street racing charges laid in fatal crash near Two Hills

A young Alberta man faces a long list of charges after a deadly crash near Two Hills, east of Edmonton.

22 year old Johan Fehr was arrested Friday night and charged with several offenses, including impaired driving causing death, street racing causing death, driving while over .08 causing death, criminal negligence causing death, and dangerous driving causing death.

Mounties allege it was around 10:20pm when Fehr's truck slammed into a parked pickup. Another 22 year old man was sitting in the truck at the time, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fehr was taken into police custody, but is now free on bail. He's due in a Vegreville courtroom on June 23rd.
