Edmonton man charged with impaired driving offences near Leduc Sunday

An Edmonton man will have to answer to charges of impaired driving after reports of erratic driving along Highway 2 towards Leduc Sunday afternoon.

The 41 year old was stopped by police while traveling east on Highway 2A from Highway 2 at around 2:30pm and was arrested when police noticed he was visibly intoxicated.

The man provided 2 samples of his breath which was 3 times over the legal limit.

Jake Adrian Houle has been charged with driving while suspended, impaired driving, driving over .08 and dangerous driving.

He's been remanded into custody and will appear in Leduc Provincial court on Thursday.
